MOA museum in Atami

MOA museum in Atami

MOA Museum of Art in Atami is a very quiet and beautiful museum, housing many Japanese art collections, including national treasures.  However, at any one time, only a handful will be on display, so check the special exhibitions and the schedule, before you go.  The English explanation is very good, too.  Y1600 per person for admission.

2 Location and Access

The location, on top of the mountain, looking down on Sagami bay, is special and the garden is large and open.  If the weather is good, it is a good idea to enjoy the walk.

It also has a lot of choices to relax and enjoy a meal.  Cafe, Japanese food, French food, tea house and so on.
