SUBNADE – Underground shopping arcade in Shinjuku

Convenient on rainy days (or any day!)

SUBNADE-with over 100 shops, it is a large underground shopping center in Shinjuku.  It connects Shinjuku station, Seibu Shinjuku station/terminal, as well as the many metro lines on Shinjuku-3 chome station.  It is connected to ISETAN department store as well most other big stores in this area.  Moreover, it is very spacious and fun to have a leisurely stroll.  As the corners are all marked very clearly, it is easy to get around this area, which could be complicated on the ground, given the traffic of people and cars.
